We listen, act, and transform
I can say that I have always wanted to be a psychologist… from the moment I took an elective course in junior high I was hooked! I wanted to help people and decided to pursue a career that would enable me to help others unlock their full potential and heal from past emotional and mental scars. I am a licensed psychologist in California (#23677) with a passion to support people wherever they may be in life. I earned my Master’s Degree in Psychology and Family Therapy and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from Azusa Pacific University in 2009. In 2022, I expanded my licensure to include the state of Texas ($39450) to better serve the needs of veterans, individuals, and families.
Throughout the course of my professional career I have worked with a variety of clients ranging from children (school-aged), adolescents, college students, adults, families, and veterans. I enjoy working with people from various walks of life and strive to help others find hope, healing, and direction in their lives. I am constantly looking for ways to provide the best care possible to my clients, which includes therapy in a safe and non-judgmental space. My main interests include premarital counseling, couples and family therapy, career planning/personal development, psychological assessment, and treatment for mood and anxiety disorders. In my clinical practice I have worked with people who suffer from the effects of a broken home, inadequate social support, and devastated interpersonal relationships. This is why I strive to create a compassionate environment that can foster change and inner transformation. I believe that strong relationships and families stem from solid foundations of trust, communication, and intimacy. Taking the first step is always the hardest… but I believe that change is possible. Together, we can make a difference.
